Lipe Clutch launches aerosol spray range
Lipe Clutch has introduced its own range of workshop aerosol sprays, including a clutch and brake cleaner, maintenance spray and grease.
Lipe Clutch, as supplied by Setco Automotive, has been manufacturing commercial vehicle clutch products in the UK for almost 50 years and offers a large range of clutch kits for fitment to all major models of truck on the road.
Matthew Kershaw, managing director at Setco Automotive (UK) Ltd, said: “We always educate our customers to clean the friction surfaces of the clutch pressure plate and the flywheel prior to fitment to the vehicle.
“This ensures that the products are free from contamination and therefore operate at peak performance. It was therefore logical for us to develop our own premium quality clutch and brake cleaner so that our customers can be confident that they are using a suitable product.
“We were so happy with the quality and value of the product that we developed, that we decided to expand the range to also include other aerosol sprays that will help in the workshops whilst jobs such as clutch installation are being carried out.
“After distributing our initial samples, we were thrilled to find our customers coming back to buy more and more of the aerosols, and surprised to find that the maintenance spray and the clear grease are just as popular as the clutch and brake cleaner.”
In order to ensure premium performance in the workshop, the Lipe Clutch aerosol cans are fitted with a 360° valve that will operate at any angle, says the company, while a quality propellant is used to provide a powerful spray even when the can is almost empty.
The range is to be expanded with new products including a silicon spray and a white grease, and some of the fluids will also be made available in five-litre cans.
Lipe Clutch can provide free samples of its aerosol products to any existing customers.
