Istobal makes an impact with CV wash range
Multinational washing equipment provider Istobal’s latest developments include the HW’Progress, said to be one of its most versatile industrial washing bridges which adapts to any type of fleet.
The company highlights the unit’s optimised design and incorporation of a variety of technological innovations, including a command post with a touch screen and various types of connections depending on the required installation conditions. It can be adapted to the specific requirements of each type of vehicle fleet: vans, trailer trucks, buses, tankers, garbage trucks, vehicles for the construction industry and other special vehicles.
Istobal also offers HW’Intrawash, an internationally patented system for the professional interior washing and disinfection of refrigerated trailers, truck beds, trailers and maritime containers.
The equipment is said to achieve an effective and safer disinfection in the interior cleaning of trucks compared to manual washing, and to reduce the average cleaning time by 60 per cent.
“Istobal HW’Intrawash applies bactericidal chemicals and performs high-pressure washing by dragging the dirt to the outside,” said the company.
“Thanks to its innovative system, it guarantees a thorough cleaning and at the same time a controlled, professional and effective disinfection of the interior of the truck, meeting the requirements of concentration, quantity and reaction time of the chemical product necessary for each transport fleet.”
It consists of a system of rails on a base platform that moves inside the vehicle to carry out a high-pressure wash with high-impact nozzles. Controlled by a frequency-controlled geared motor, Istobal HW’Intrawash is able to wash vehicles up to 16 metres long in depth.
With Smartwash by Istobal, the company enables digitisation of vehicle washing, which it says allows customers to obtain the maximum potential from the facilities and satisfy the demands of an increasingly demanding and digitised user.
