Amber Valley’s DVS solutions
Safety specialist Amber Valley offers a range of audible and visual equipment designed to increase driver awareness of vulnerable road users, which is geared towards the requirements of the London Direct Vision standard (DVS).
The company’s standard DVS kit includes a blind spot kit, one side camera and seven-inch monitor, and a ‘blind spot, take care’ label.
Meanwhile, a ‘superior’ package (pictured) features, in addition to the above, an Alarmalight, square/circle LED cycle light, push on/off instant module, and an extra camera for the rear.
The standard DVS package from Amber Valley includes its speed limiting and indicating hub, making the entire kit plug-and-play for ease of installation.
Cited advantages of the package include complete testing to guarantee correct functioning of components prior to fitting; and simpler fault-finding in the event of a breakdown, which in many cases can be performed over the phone, the company says, thereby avoiding costly downtime.
