Jaama announces April fleet management seminar dates

jaamaFleet management software specialist Jaama has announced dates for four more of its Fleet Management Essentials seminars during April, which it says will include content relevant for commercial vehicle operators.

Issues examined at the seminars will include employee driver licence checking, carbon footprint cutting strategies, and the impact of impact of Driver CPC legislation and why it is important for businesses operating commercial and passenger-carrying vehicles.

Other topics covered include cost control, including employer and employee taxation; risk management policy and risk assessments; the impact of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007; and the use of technology to reduce the administrative burden of fleet management.

The seminars have proved popular with a wide cross-section of full-time professional fleet decision-makers. Jaama says, as well as administrators and managers who have the responsibility but not necessarily the experience or specialist knowledge of running a fleet of vehicles.

Additionally, delegates will have the opportunity to trial Jaama’s RiskAssistant or FleetAssistant software free for three months. Attendees will also be given policy templates and best practice fact sheets which they can adapt to meet their own fleet requirements.

Seminars start with registration at 9.30am and conclude with an open question and answer session from 4pm.
