aideinstallsVehicle equipment supplier aide automotive has announced it is now offering an on-site installation service for its anti-siphon product range, which it has been supplying for over 12 years to the commercial vehicle market.

The company has improved its anti-siphon product range to include the non-skimming Hercules model, low-cost steel siphons, and retrofit spill valves for the TP Anti Syph range.

Matthew Burke, aide sales director, said: “Offering an installation service is just another step forward in supporting our customers and keeping our customers at the forefront of our thinking.

“We have recently carried out an installation of eight trucks and vans for a transport company who had repeated scenarios of fuel theft. We also offered a weekend install which helped with fleet access and zero downtime.”

Anti-fuel siphons can be fitted to all types of tank – bayonet, screw type and bus/coach – with no drilling or gluing to the tank. They can be supplied for Volvo, MAN, DAF, Iveco, Scania, Renault, Foden, Hino and Mercedes-Benz trucks.

In addition to anti-siphon devices, aide automotive can also install the TankGuard fuel tank alarm, which will sound once a filler fuel cap is removed or a potential thief tampers with the tank. TankGuard can interact with a GSM module, so that as soon as the fuel tank is tampered with a text message is sent to designated phones to alert of fuel theft.
