ttcaward1CV components aftermarket supplier TTC, part of the Unipart Group, has received an Award for Innovation at this year’s AutoTrade Expo in Dublin, for its patented Truckminder anti-theft system.

Truckminder is designed to protect a vehicle’s fuel tank, catalytic converter/DPF, ECU and battery by alerting the user via GSM pager, or by connecting with existing telematics, when interference is detected.

TTC is the exclusive distributor of the Truckminder system, and has been actively demonstrating the technology at a number of events this year, including the CV Show, Automechanika and the Melbourne Truck Show.

AutoTrade Expo, which was held this weekend at the Citywest Conference Centre in Dublin, was a major trade-only event, and showcased all aspects of the Irish automotive aftermarket.

TTC says its latest award award win reinforces its commitment to innovation and
supporting new technology that will benefit its customers.

ttcaward2Darren Miller, commercial director at TTC, said: “At TTC we pride ourselves in being innovators and leading the way in the CV aftermarket.

“Truckminder is a perfect example of a new technology that will, in the long term, save our customers and also their customers, time and money, by illuminating the worry of fuel theft, etc, which is still very prominent. We are delighted to have been acknowledged in this way by AutoTrade Expo.”

Further details on the Truckminder anti-theft system are available from the TTC website.
