CV Show 2015: Descartes to promote telematics and compliance software

Descartes will be promoting its range of telematics and compliance solutions for road transport operators at this year’s Show.
Descartes’ Routing, Mobile and Telematics suite includes functionality for territory and route planning, delivery appointment scheduling, intelligent dispatch, automated vehicle location, proof of delivery, temperature or intrusion status, and regulatory compliance.
The company’s SmartCompliance SaaS compliance management solutions include tachograph analysis, SmartLicence driving license verification with DVLA, and electronic vehicle check apps.
Subscribers to Smartanalysis or SmartLicence can also take advantage of the new SmartAlerts feature, which provides automated email alerts to tachograph, drivers’ hours and driving licence issues that need their immediate attention. This allows transport managers to manage by exception, says Descartes, saving time and minimising risk.
