Truck-Lite adds new LED rear lamp to portfolio
Lighting technology supplier Truck-Lite has recently launched the newest addition to its range of full LED rear lamps, in the form of the model 900, showcased at this year’s IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover.
“The model 900 is the most innovative lamp currently on the market, combining integrated intelligence with boundary pushing aesthetics,” said Mark Cording, marketing manager at Truck-Lite.
“This flagship product is not only iconic on the road but also industry leading in the level of flexibility it allows the user.”
With its three dimensional shape, homogenous light pattern and patented progressive direction indicator, the model 900 is said to offer unique visual features that improve visibility and safety on the road.
“Coupled with great visual appeal, the lamp has fully integrated intelligence capabilities that eliminate the need for an additional black box monitoring unit, and means this lamp not only looks good but is practical and widely compatible,” said Truck-Lite.
“Furthermore, the model 900 can aid parking and reversing with [optional] proximity sensing capabilities in the stalk, improving safety and driver accuracy.”
The model 900 is currently available for trailers with or without the stalk, and a further version for truck will be launched in January 2017.
Truck-Lite offers a five-year warranty as standard, or alternatively the lamp can be purchased as part of a Lifetime Warranty trailer kit, which the firm says offers greater peace of mind and lower maintenance costs.
“The model 900 will appeal to any fleet looking for a lamp that combines innovation and safety with a modern signature look, and Truck-Lite have already been supplying a number of fleets in the UK and across Europe,” the company concluded.
