All-makes braking parts from TRP
Components brand TRP offers a comprehensive range of braking parts, including brake discs, brake pads and caliper repair kits.
TRP’s all-makes truck and trailer parts and workshop consumables are made available through the DAF dealer network of 135 locations across the UK and Ireland, including 20 dedicated TRP Shops.
Operators can also locate and order parts via the DAF Webshop which provides access to the full range of both DAF and TRP parts, including dealer stock availability.
The TRP range now exceeds 90,000 individual items covering all makes of HGV, LCV, trailer, and tanker, including vendor-branded parts.

The brand’s brake disc range covers applications across a number of axle configurations, both on the prime mover, for trailers and tankers, and suitable for all makes and models.
The range is said to combine exceptional brake performance with long service-life at a competitive cost. For trailer discs specifically, TRP’s range includes equipment appropriate for BPW, SAF, Meritor, Jost, Schmitz and Valx trailer axle set-ups.
A range of brake discs are available for trucks in all weight categories: for DAF’s own LF, CF and XF models, as well as popular models from the Iveco, MAN, Mercedes, Renault, Scania and Volvo truck ranges.
“All discs across the TRP range have been designed and tested to deliver the highest possible standards of safety and performance, and for every brake application,” said the company.
“TRP’s rigorous testing protocol involves 5,000 braking cycles performed continuously over eight days, as well as four days of thermal shock testing under high demand conditions. TRP brake discs must also undergo 15-cycles of high feed and forced fade combinations, and a full day of 500 high-load emergency stops.
“The TRP disc brake range is ECE R90 approved, with all products fully traceable in the event of any issues.”
TRP also offers an extensive range of brake pads to cater for all popular braking systems, trailer axle set-ups and commercial vehicle models.
“The brake pad range has been designed, engineered and tested to deliver the highest level of performance in all conditions,” said TRP.
The pads are also ECE R90 approved, and are built to match OEM quality standards.
Meanwhile, a selection of caliper repair kits is available for popular braking systems, including those from Knorr-Bremse, Wabco and Meritor.
