Carbon Clean machines help cut emissions

Engine maintenance specialist Carbon Clean has highlighted some of the benefits of its range of carbon cleaning machines, which enable workshops and commercial fleet owners to remove carbon build-up from vehicles’ engines, whilst also reducing emissions.

“The machines utilise state of the art Oxyhydrogen (HHO) technology to electrolyse water to produce the required HHO gas,” explained the company.

“The HHO molecule bonds with the carbon (C) particles on the engine components and walls within the combustion chamber. This is assisted by highly combustible temperatures produced in a small volume whilst the four-stroke engine cycle runs naturally in the vehicle.”

This process significantly helps in reducing emissions including CO, CO2, NOX and HC, says Carbon Clean, as well as ensuring a healthier engine.

“As the HHO gas strips away carbon deposits within the vehicle’s engine, harmful emissions are dramatically reduced in the process,” said the company.

“Once the carbon clean is completed, the engine has less carbon remains hence incomplete combustion is less likely to occur.”

Features include a ‘set and forget’ function. Up to 100 per cent of carbon build-up can be removed within 30 minutes, the firm adds, and a variety of models are available to enable carbon removal from all types of vehicles, generating additional workshop revenue.
