CV Show 2021 – Petronas (PLI): CV engine lubricants

The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 31 August to 2 September.
Lubricant manufacturer Petronas Lubricants International (PLI), best-known for its involvement in motorsport, including the Dakar Rally, will display its Petronas Urania range of commercial vehicle engine lubricants, with the spotlight on the 5W-30 5000 oil. It uses StrongTech technology to offer an extended drain interval, while leveraging expertise in ultra-low viscosity lubrication to provide a thinner yet stronger protective film than other comparable oils. This thinner film reduces parasitic drag and fuel consumption.
PLI says it is winning new manufacturer approvals and meeting more industry standards to enable it to increase its appeal to multi-marque fleets and independent workshops, with its Show appearance intended to improve awareness of the brand and its capabilities.
