Totalkare has announced the addition of Eliminox to its product portfolio, a fuel conditioner said to dramatically reduce emissions, engine wear, maintenance and fuel costs (increase MPG).

“It works by emulsifying free water into the diesel pre-combustion, which increases cetane value at combustion and improves performance whilst increasing the lubricity factor,” said the company.

“This saves engine wear and decreases maintenance.

“Furthermore, Eliminox Eco prevents the growth of diesel bug, an increasingly prevalent problem in diesel engines. In doing so, it keeps fuel filters and fuel lines clean. Widely tested and trialled, Eliminox Eco is being actively used in the field, delivering excellent results across vehicle fleets.”

Cited benefits include up to eight per cent fuel savings, extended service intervals and improved emissions for MOT testing. Biodegradable, it is suitable for diesel and petrol engines and is said to be a cost-neutral product which pays for itself.

Users include Besblock Ltd UK.

“After using Eliminox Eco we have been pleasantly surprised with the results, showing an eight per cent improvement in MPG and an extended period of the particulate warning light not illuminating, which confirms a reduction in PM emissions,” said the company’s transport manager.

“As a forward-looking, innovative company, we believe Eliminox Eco will undoubtedly reduce the carbon footprint of Besblock in the future. Our fleet of 25 trucks have not suffered any detrimental effects during our trial period, nor suffered any fuel-related problems. We can recommend Eliminox Eco to any fleet owner.”
