Kennedy deploys Cubo tech for Coca-Cola tour
Fleet technology solutions provider Cubo has supplied telematics and communications services to the famous Coca-Cola Christmas trucks for their tour across the UK and Ireland in December.
The fleet, which is owned by Kennedy International Transport, was equipped with tracking technology by County Antrim-based Cubo for their festive journey.
“We have been supplying Kennedy International Transport with vehicle telematics and CCTV for over 10 years for its almost 80 strong fleet of HGVs,” said Robert Steele, national account manager at Cubo.

Cubo’s Track Smart system gives Kennedy International Transport instant visibility of vehicles and access to a variety of reports in their day-to-day running of the fleet.
Meanwhile, Tacho Smart helps the firm ensure vehicles and drivers are compliant with tachograph rules, thanks to weekly downloads from the vehicle unit and daily driver card downloads, with no physical downloads necessary – thereby freeing up the Kennedy team to focus on office-based management.
Kennedy also has full coverage of its fleet via CCTV, with the ability to use footage as evidence should an incident occur, reduce insurance premiums, and improve driver behaviour and safety.
